Known issues with ASUS software
Utilities installed by the motherboard manufacturer ASUS.
In some cases, we've found that utilities installed by ASUS cause security issues with the BBM Tools program.
These utilities install system controls (such as CPU temperature monitoring, motherboard temperature monitoring, or performance controllers).
These controllers often use the PowerShell system. It runs in the background when your computer boots.
PowerShell (like other processes) is considered "dangerous" by the program.
You will therefore see the warning below if such a utility is installed and running when you launch the program and the game.
To fix this, you will need to do one of these solutions:
- Uninstall ASUS utilities.
- Disable (if you don't want to uninstall them) from your startup manager.
- Search for the "PowerShell.exe" process and stop it BEFORE starting the program and game.
