Use BBMod Safe

You are a WooCommerce store administrator, you need to use BBMod Safe, here is what you need to know about using it.

BBMod Safe manages all licences created during a WooCommerce order, provided your product is configured to use the BBMod Safe system.

1. The main interface

Access the main page from the BBMod Safe menu

This management page displays all the basic information for each license available on your site.

Columns 1 to 8 provide you with the essential information:

1. License numbers
2. Product Name (mod)
3. Customer order number
4. Customer name (if available and recorded on their customer file)
5. Number of activations
6. The status of his machine
7. The status of the license
8. Action button for license

From 9 to 13, options allowing sorting and searching among registered licenses.

9. Sort by products
10. Sort by deleted orders
11. Search by Name, First Name, Order Number
12. Total number of licenses on the site/store
13. When you have several navigation pages, you can enter the number of the page you want to go to, enter the number and validate with "Enter").

2. License details (license management)

Here is the detailed interface for managing a license

Buttons 1 and 2 allow you to:

1. Return to the general management page
2. See the command attached to this license

Items 3 through 10 provide detailed information for this license.
This partially replicates the information you had on the general page.

Button 11 (Purge Logs) allows you to purge the logs (only purges logs from section 10).

On the right side of section 9, three buttons are available (see below).

Here are the roles of these buttons:

1. Disable an activation of your customer's machine
2. Block license activations on your customer's machine
3. Check the connection status with the program on your client's PC.

Here are the actions of these buttons:

1. This can be used if your client has reached the maximum number of activations.
   For example, if your client has uninstalled their mods but wants to reinstall them on another machine because they've changed PCs.
2. Activation will be impossible on the client's computer.
   The message "BLOCKED" will be displayed instead of the download button in the mod list.
   The affected mod files will be deleted from the client's computer the next time they log in, without any warning.
3. Check the connection status with the program on your client's PC.
   This option will be useful to verify that the program is communicating correctly with your site, for example, in the context of technical support.

If you have blocked a machine (with button 2), this is what the license details page will display:

You can always unlock your customer's machine by clicking the "Unblock Machine ID" button.
This will unlock access.
Activations will be reset to 0 after unlocking.

Pro Tip:

We recommend carefully examining license behavior and logs.
This will help you determine if your user is about to attempt multiple unauthorized activations.
